Sandeep Malani who is passionate about
film-making is also an ardent music lover. And he makes it a point to have great
music in his films. And that has always been a plus point in his projects. Besides
creating new music and giving chance to lots of music composers, he certainly
does not forget the ones who are in the industry from ages. Thus his films also
have tribute to the Retro music directors. One such song is Neele Neele Ambar
Par, from Kalaakar which is a tribute to Kalyandji Anandji. Malani uses as the
cover version in Yeh Cinemaa Hai.
Its Alia’s engagement with Arjun. Alia’s
family members (Mahesh, Namrata, Ayushmann, Aditi and Sriman) along with Arjun’s
family (Ajay, Rani) and friends (Sajid, Varun, Aditya) along with guests all
get together for the ceremony. The Host Sajid sings Alia’s favorite number
Neele Neele Ambar Par which Arjun continues it and has a waltz dance with her.
And the ones in the party enjoy the moment by listening to the track, greeting, taking selfies and
interacting with each other.
The Song
Alia loves the song Neele Neele Ambar
Par and she has used it as her ring tone of her mobile. Besides, she listens to
the track all the time when she is all alone. So as to, on her engagement day,
her family friend Sajid, who also is the host for the evening sings a song and
dedicates it to her.
Neele Neele Ambar Par has been Malani’s
all time favorite romantic song. The
song from Kalaakar had music by Kalyandji Anandji and was sung by Kishore Kumar
and picturised on Kunal Gowswami. It also featured Sridevi , Rakesh Bedi and
Madhu Malini in the song. The female version of the song sung by Sadhana Sargam
wasn’t used in the film, but had its audio track on the album. The original of
the tune was composed by Ilaiyaraja for the Tamil version ‘Payanangal Mudivathilai’
and the song ‘Ilayanila’ sung by SP Balasubramaniam
Nitin Acharya has sung and composed
the cover version for the same in Yeh Cinemaa Hai.
