Writer director Sandeep Malani has reused and revised the
famous yesteryears Konkani song ‘Mog Tuzo Kithlo Ashelon’ for his Hindi
filmseries/webseries titled ‘Maa - Yeh CineMaa Hai’. The song is a tribute to
all the mothers of the cast and crew of the film.
The Tribute to Wilfy Rebimbus
The song originally from the Konkani hit film, ‘Mog Ani
Maipas’ had lyrics by Late Wilfy Rebimbus (called as Konkan Kogul) and was sung
by PB Srinivas and composed by Upendra Kumar. The song is well known down the
nostalgic line to be a Wilfy Rebimbus song. Every musical night, events, shows,
and Konkani cultural programs, weddings, functions had this song being played
since it was released then. One of the famous and favorite of all, the song was
a romantic song picturised on the lead players in the Konkani film. Malani used
it as the title song changing the lyrics a bit that suits for mothers. And in a
way, this song as its been used was also a tribute given to the original composer
Wilfy Rebimbus. The audio track with the poster was released at the grave of
Wilfy Uncle at Jeppoo, Mangalore and the poster was released by his wife Meena
Rebimbus and son Vishwas Rebimbus
Also, being relative to Wilfy, the poster was also released
by Joseph Rajan, Roseline Sequiera and Reshma Malani in Bangalore.
The Singers
The song is been sung by Prajoth Dsa and Ashwin Dcosta with Prajoth
also doing the re-music for the same adding his own feel to it, retaining the
original track.

Mog Tuzo Kithlo Ashelon, Titloi la Bogna Maka, Porthun Haanv
Zalmon Yethelo, Mogan Maai Apon Tuka.
It also had fresh Hindi and English lyrics added to the
same.
The Dancers
Vinay Saldanha and his dance team comprising of Mellisha Monteiro, Deekshit Poojari, Rakraj Roshan, Lavanya Shetty, Ahanthem Anupama & Sujala Roy performed for the track with White outfits and the choreography was planned with the concept of a dance that is of motherly love.

And while Chitra Mitra does the sketch, Vinay and his team
perform, the titles of the cast and crew is presented with their mothers pic
and their names on the screen. Thus, the
song been a tribute to all the mothers of the team.
